Oil and gas firm selects software to make invoice process more efficient, reduce payment cycle times

Farmington, NM — August 26, 2005 — Dugan Production Co. has selected Wellogix Inc., to provide software and services to optimize the company's supply chain process for its U.S.-based operations.

The company, a family-owned business that is currently the 105th-largest independent oil and gas producer in the United States, will use the core modules of Wellogix's Complex Services Management (CSM) suite to increase the efficiency of the invoice process and reduce the cycle time between invoice receipt and payment. This solution is expected to reduce costs and expedite service company payment.

Tom Dugan, CEO of Dugan Production, said the Wellogix CSM solution will ultimately enable his company to streamline planning, procurement and payment processes. We have run a tight ship for many years and are always looking for ways to optimize our operations, he said. Managing the commercial aspects of complex services can be a challenge, but we understand that optimization around that process would be cost-effective. We operate and drill a large number of wells, and purchase products and services from hundreds of vendors.

Dugan continued, saying, This was an easy decision for us," Dugan continued. "We
have observed the value that BP and Marathon Oil are receiving with the Wellogix solution, and we fully expect that supply chain optimization will drive value directly back to operations within our company."
