CIBER to provide HighJump solution for Wisconsin wine and spirits distributor
Fond Du Lac, WI — November 22, 2005 — CIBER announced today that Badger Liquor, Wisconsin's largest distributor of wine and spirits, has selected CIBER Inc. as its partner to improve supply chain efficiency and performance. CIBER has been assessing Badger's distribution design, and has recommended strategic operational changes to improve productivity.
To accomplish and enhance the operational changes, Badger said it will implement industry-specific hardware and software, including HighJump Software's warehouse management system (WMS) and CIBER's industry-specific configurations. This specific wine and spirits industry solution is expected to drive cost reductions for Badger Liquor by improving inbound shipment processing and storage, coordinating replenishment timing, and utilizing multiple picking approaches to optimize distribution.
Badger Liquor sells and distributes wine and spirits through multiple channels, including grocery stores, restaurants, bars and retail outlets.
