San Jose, CA — January 21, 2004 — Delta Dental Plan of New Jersey, the leading dental benefits carrier for New Jersey and Connecticut, has deployed BusinessObjects Enterprise 6. Delta Dental of New Jersey uses BusinessObjects Enterprise 6 to analyze key business metrics and operational data in real-time.

Delta Dental of New Jersey is a member of the nationwide Delta Dental Plan System, which provides dental coverage to over 43 million people in nearly 75,000 groups across the nation, and includes the participation of almost three out of every four U.S. dentists.

Using BusinessObjects Enterprise 6, Delta Dental of New Jersey said its staff can access corporate information relating to sales, provider network and membership information. In addition, analysis on the total savings realized per plan and per group can be performed efficiently, keeping Delta Dental executives up to date on progress in containing costs.
