Agro-industry giant signs up for asset disposition and redeployment services worldwide

Foster City, CA — February 6, 2004 — Agro-industry giant Cargill has selected solutions and services provider DoveBid as its primary strategic supplier for asset disposition and redeployment services worldwide.

Cargill signed a three-year contract with DoveBid to provide capital asset management and remarketing services to all Cargill locations globally.

Headquartered in Foster City, Calif., DoveBid assists its customers in the disposition, valuation and redeployment of their surplus capital assets through a variety of auction services. The company is more than 65 years old.

"Our partnership with DoveBid is key to Cargill's ongoing efforts to maximize our investment recovery," said Doug Jensen, senior sourcing manager at Cargill. "We're counting on DoveBid's demonstrated experience in asset management and disposal, as well as its investment recovery expertise, to help us strategically identify, redeploy and dispose of surplus assets, by way of its multiple disposal channels."
