Atlanta — June 17, 2004 — Supply chain software provider Viewlocity Inc., today announced that its product has become the basis of a cargo management supply chain solution for Patrick Ports. Patrick is a multi-modal logistics provider, port operator and freight forwarder based in Australia.

The Patrick's Cargo Management solution provides Patrick with integrated supply chain processes spanning several business units. The solution also enables collaboration with freight forwarding agents, customs brokers and import/exporter agents for command and control of the end-to-end supply chain.

The system has been in production since January 2004, and Patrick is already realizing operational benefits and improved customer satisfaction levels.

According to Adrian Sandrin, general manager Integration and Development at Patrick Ports, the logistics provider recently underwent an acquisition-driven expansion, and a key business objective has been to provide an integrated logistics service across operations. "We needed a solution that would allow us to keep pace with our business expansion and provide control of our supply chain," he said "Viewlocity was able to meet all of our challenges. We are now able to resolve issues in the supply chain before they result in failure."

Said Fadi Geha, managing director, Viewlocity Asia Pacific: "We are delighted to have Patrick Ports as a customer. Our commitment to the Asia-Pacific market and ability to locally support an organization of the caliber of Patrick was very important in securing this business."
