Selects solution from Mxi Technologies to improve maintenance support for Falcon aircraft

Ottawa — October 7, 2003 — A division of Dassault Aviation has selected a solution from Mxi Technologies to enhance its current systems for in-service support of its business aircraft.

Mxi's Maintenix solution will provide Dassault's Falcon Jet division with visibility into the utilization and reliability of its customers' aircraft, thereby helping to ensure superior levels of service, according to the solution provider.

"Having a faster access to a complete data set of the performance of our aircraft fleet will help us as a manufacturer to provide the best level of customer support," said Jacques Pellas, Dassault Aviation Information System senior vice president. "We will be better able to address reliability issues as they arise and to improve our supply chain based on extensive aircraft utilization and configuration data collected by us."

This program will also provide the information needed to more accurately predict and study maintenance costs, Mxi said.

Dassault Falcon Jet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, and is responsible for selling and supporting Falcon business jets. It employs a workforce of more than 2,300.

Mxi specializes in software for aviation maintenance management, and the companies customers have included Delta Air Lines, Qantas, Air Canada, Boeing and the U.S. Navy and Army.
