January 17, 2012 – Pittsburgh, PA – CombineNet, Inc., today announced its board of directors has promoted two company executives to its top management positions, following strong financial and customer growth results in 2011.
Dr. Richard Wilson has been named Chief Executive Officer of CombineNet, having previously served as its President and Chief Operating Officer since 2009. In addition to holding top responsibility for overall company performance, he will continue to focus on CombineNet’s e-sourcing product strategy and direction, product engineering, IT operations, and customer support and service delivery to its global clients. Dr. Wilson joined CombineNet in 2003 after 20 years in aviation and transportation management, systems development, and consulting.
David Zynn, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, has also been named President. Mr. Zynn now oversees CombineNet’s worldwide sales, partnership development, and marketing operations, as well as financial and administrative areas. He joined CombineNet in 2010, bringing more than 25 years of financial and operations leadership experience at both public and private companies. Mr. Zynn also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CombineNet from 2005 to 2006.
Board member Tim Dibble, who is Founder and Managing General Partner of private equity firm Alta Communications, lead investor in CombineNet, stated: “The board of directors is extremely pleased with the results from the leadership of these two stand-out executives, who helped bring CombineNet to record growth in 2011 during a difficult global economic climate.
