Dana Chooses Transplace as Transportation Management Provider

Transplace announced that it has been selected by Dana Incorporated to manage its entire North American transportation network. A world leader in engineered solutions for improving the efficiency, performance, and sustainability of powered vehicles and machinery, Dana supports the passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway markets, as well as industrial and stationary equipment applications.

Dana selected Transplace based on its best-in-class logistics technology, extensive $9 billion transportation network and deep mobility industry expertise. In addition to Transplace’s efficient and effective network designs, the company will enable cross customer shipment collaboration using artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. Transplace’s Transportation Management System (TMS) will provide Dana with real-time shipment tracking, and business intelligence, allowing for the discovery of additional opportunities for cost savings throughout Dana’s entire supply chain.
