CoreHarbor and SAQQARA team up to offer content management

ATLANTA, GA  CoreHarbor, Inc., an e-commerce Application Service Provider (ASP), and SAQQARA Systems, Inc., a B2B e-commerce software and services provider, have formed an alliance to offer CoreHarbor customers a catalog content strategy and supplier enablement services for B2B e-commerce. The partnership will provide CoreHarbor customers managed access to end-to-end e-commerce services consisting of syndicated and integrated product content.

SAQQARA's Commerce Suite software and Cornerstone Program enable manufacturers and suppliers to transform product information into rich content for e-commerce. CoreHarbor will offer e-content services to its customers within a hosted environment. Customers can benefit from rapid supplier enablement and structured and syndicated product content, while suppliers benefit from a single resource for the management of electronic catalogs for multiple buy-side applications.

According to Pierre Mitchell in the May, 2000 AMR Outlook: Supplier Enablement Has Become Job One for Exchange Liquidity, Catalog content development is the single largest project delay in e-procurement deployments. To tackle the product data issue, SAQQARA's new Cornerstone Program allows suppliers to cleanse and aggregate product data with its Product Content Services solution and publishes it with the Product Content Syndication service.
