Norwood, MA -- November 29, 2000 -- Elcom International named John Halnen, the current president and CEO of Elcom Services Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, to President of Elcom International, Inc.
Halnen, who has been with the company almost since its inception, will continue to oversee operations at Elcom Services Group but will now also have a view toward both of the company's subsidiaries to leverage costs and opportunities throughout the organization, according to Robert Crowell, chairman and CEO of Elcom International.
Halnen commented, "I intend to re-examine the company as we continue to position and reengineer the Company to make it more efficient while enhancing the value-add to our customers. To further streamline the company, Halnen plans to outsource more of their various business areas.
