San Francisco August 14, 2001 ING Employee Benefits will use an e-commerce platform from solution provider BenefitPoint to manage the distribution of its employee benefits products.
The BenefitPoint software will enable ING to respond to requests for proposals, process renewals and streamline carrier, broker and employer interactions via the Internet. ING will be able to take advantage of BenefitPoint's distribution channel of more than 150 brokerage and consulting firms across the country.
"By leveraging the BenefitPoint online application, ING will more effectively distribute its products and services in real time to the brokers and consultants committed to using BenefitPoint for e-procurement," said Curt Olson, vice president sales for ING.
