Richmond, CA October 16, 2001 QRS Corp., a provider of global sourcing and supply chain management solutions for the retail industry, this week announced the appointment of Elizabeth (Liz) Fetter as president and CEO. Fetter replaces John Simon, who will remain with the company as executive vice president of strategy and business development and will continue to serve as a member of the Board. Fetter's appointment is effective immediately.
Fetter has more than 20 years of senior management experience, including a decade of leading strategy development and plan execution at top information services and telecommunications companies. She most recently served as president and CEO of NorthPoint Communications, and, prior to that, as a consultant to retail and consumer goods companies on global initiatives.
As president and CEO, Fetter will be responsible for delivering products and services that exceed customer expectations, driving profitable revenue growth for QRS and its customers, and providing superior returns to shareholders.
