Santa Monica, CA November 30, 2001 Supply chain software provider Vizional Technologies today rolled out a suite of products that the company says will reduce the complexity of integrating the inventory and order data for disparate distribution facilities.
Vizional's Adaptive Network Products suite includes tools that provide a consolidated view of inventory across multiple facilities, a component that provides secure inventory status visibility into a multi-entity distribution center and an order promising tool that allows for request and commitment of order dates from multiple trading partners.
Robert McCullough, director of commerce strategies at the Hurwitz Group consultancy, said that the new suite would allow facilities providers to work with their retail and manufacturing customers to set up predetermined security and access parameters based on contracts and trader relationships, thereby reducing the overall complexity of their relationships.
Vizional says that its new products can be embedded into industrial real estate properties to allow multi-client single warehouses (such as public warehouses) to report back inventory and order data.
