Framework Technologies forms Customer Advisory Council, connects them with collaborative software

Burlington, MA January 8, 2003 Decision support software provider Framework Technologies this week today announced the formation of the Framework Technologies Customer Advisory Council. The principal goal of the Council, according to the provider, is to better match Framework's solution strategy with its customers' business objectives and challenges.

Framework said the Council is comprised of a sample of Framework's customers, including senior executives from Amerock Corp., Bristol-Myers Squibb, Emerson Power Transmission, INTERMET and Hamilton Sundstrand.

Representatives from Framework Technologies' engineering, product marketing and sales organizations met with the council in early November, and have committed to formal, bi-annual meetings. In the meetings the Council will do such things as act as a focus group, provide insight into software markets and customer needs, and contribute input and feedback regarding the direction of Framework's initiatives, as well as on new product and services offerings.

Donald Tomkinson, president and CEO of Framework Technologies, said, "The formation of our Customer Advisory Council will allow us to further sharpen our customer centric focus by obtaining their valuable guidance on our strategic direction and technology offerings. Customer input is critical to our ability to develop solutions and refine our strategy to address customer needs, and we look forward to a positive working relationship with the Council."

Framework will also employ its product ActiveProject, which synchronizes information, milestones and communications between the members of a distributed organization's team, to keep Council members connected even after the meetings are over. According to the provider, the software will allow Council members and representatives from Framework to share and distribute critical information regarding strategy and new product initiatives.
