Cambridge, MA — March 14, 2003 — Frictionless Commerce, an enterprise software company, this week announced that employee benefits organization CIGNA Corp. has selected the Frictionless Sourcing enterprise sourcing platform to manage costs across the organization.

Frictionless Sourcing was selected because of its knowledge management and negotiation capabilities. According to CIGNA, the software will be deployed to decrease cycle time across the sourcing lifecycle, improve cross-divisional collaboration on sourcing projects, and realize savings by increasing competition for contracts through automated sourcing events.
