Rochester, NY — May 28, 2003 — Xelus Inc., a provider of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solutions for aftermarket equipment service, today announced two European customer wins for its service parts management software.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers, the leading European computer company, selected Xelus software to manage its international service parts network. Xelus said it offers demand forecasting, inventory and replenishment planning, and deployment of parts to support Fujitsu Siemens Computers' customers in all key markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Also, Electrolux Home Products Europe will implement Xelus solutions in its European spares planning groups in Sweden, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. The provider's applications will manage European-wide service inventory for Electrolux brands including Electrolux, AEG and Zanussi.
"The Xelus software will get us to the next level in inventory performance," said Lutz Frede, vice president of after sales service and spares at Electrolux Home Products Europe. "To provide an availability of spare parts to our consumers while reducing inventory at the same time is a complex task. The new software we will achieve both tasks at the same time."
Barkawi and Partner will lead both implementations. It is an international consulting and implementation support company that specializes in supply chain optimization, service parts logistics and inventory management.
