New directors to bring customer perspective, supply chain leadership
The Woodlands, TX — July 18, 2003 — Pantellos, a providers of supply chain services for the utility and energy industries, has announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Margot Kyd of Sempra Energy Utilities, Jacki Lowe of Southern Co. and Brad Tobin of FirstEnergy Service Co.

"As customers of Pantellos, they bring a fresh perspective that will help us stay attuned to the needs of our utility customers. In addition, all three are industry thought leaders who have achieved significant supply chain improvements for their companies."
Margot Kyd is senior vice president, business solutions, for Sempra Energy Utilities, the umbrella company for Sempra Energy's regulated business units. She oversees numerous corporate services, including supply management. Previously, Kyd was vice president of human resources for Enova Corp. and its principal subsidiary, San Diego Gas & Electric. Kyd serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of San Diego. She is also a member of the university's BusinessLink and serves on its Executive Committee.
Jacki Lowe is vice president of supply chain management for Southern Co., the parent company of several power companies in the southern United States. Her responsibilities include oversight of volume procurement and strategic sourcing for the company. She has also served as vice president and chief information officer for Alabama Power Co., as well as regional chief information officer for Alabama, Southern Nuclear and Southern Company Services.
Brad Tobin is vice president and chief procurement officer for FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. Before joining FirstEnergy, Tobin held several manufacturing, customer service and information technology positions with General Electric and most recently served as senior manager of Strategic Services for Accenture. At Accenture, he managed project teams that developed supply chain strategies for Lucent Technologies, Dell Computer, Honda and other companies. Tobin serves on the Business Advisory Councils of The University of Akron and the Akron Public Schools.
