Frequently Asked Questions to Top Supply Chain Projects Award

1.     How do I submit a nomination?

CLICK HERE to complete the electronic nomination form. All applications must be submitted electronically. Applications emailed to Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s staff or submitted through social media channels will not be considered.

2.    Can I submit a nomination for a project that's been previously submitted?

No, regardless if this project won or not, projects submitted in previous Top Supply Chain Projects awards will be disqualified.

3.    What if the enabler company does not want to be named/listed?

If, for reasons of confidentiality, you cannot use customer names, please provide descriptors in place of the customer names (e.g., Fortune 500 retailer, Global 2000 electronics manufacturer, leading financial services firm, etc.). Please note, if you DO include the company’s name, it will publish.

4.      How long should my responses be?

There is no word count or character limit to the responses. In fact, the more information, the better. Submissions that tell a story and detail use cases and the results are more inclined to be considered.

5.      Is there a limit to the number of nominations I can submit?

Yes. Limit one nomination per project. Limit one nomination per company.

6.      If I submit multiple applications for the same project, will that increase the chances of that nominee winning?

No. In fact, submitting multiple applications for the same project/company could actually hurt the chances of winning. We suggest companies communicate internally to discuss which project to submit.

7. I am a PR agency/marketing firm. Can I submit on behalf of my client?

Yes, of course. PR agencies/marketing firms can submit on behalf of their client. PR/marketing firms can nominate one or more client.

8.     What is the timeframe of the project to be submitted?

The project must have started within the last 12 months.

9.    How do you determine a winner from the submission?

Submissions must tell a story; they must detail the use cases, the results and more. The more information, the better. Those submissions with one-sentence answers or no examples will not be considered.

Winners ARE NOT determined based on relationship or advertising position  with Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive

10. What if I just submit the nomination but don't pay the application fee?

Both the completed application and the paid application fee must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered. Missing just one of those two pieces will result in an incomplete submission and will be automatically disqualified. Please check to see that you received a transaction receipt via email for the application fee as well as a “Thank you for your submission” popup message for the actual nomination.

11. The nomination form asks if I'm attending certain industry shows. Does me attending those shows have any effect on me winning?

No. We ask to see who's attending certain industry shows that our team will also be attending in case we can meet up in person (we love to meet winners in person) and in case we plan to host some awards' event on-site at the show. Your attendance (or lackthereof) at any industry event has no bearing on the consideration of your application.

12.     What is the entry fee?
