Redwood City, Calif.—June 5, 2014—Michelin Group, a world leader in tire manufacturing, selected Ivalua Buyer V8 to manage its expenses and contracts globally. The Michelin Group currently uses Ivalua’s e-procurement software across 55 countries to manage its supplier database, and 5,000 contracts and 5 million invoices annually.
Michelin chose Ivalua Buyer 8 to create a single supplier contracts lifecycle process, replacing its outdated, fragmented contracts tool. As a result, Michelin was able to leverage Ivalua’s Spend Management system to manage organizational controls and analyze business spend.
“The user-friendly interface and the simple configurability of Ivalua Buyer V8 were key factors for us,” explained Georges Cailleaud, the information technology (IT) project manager for Michelin Group. “In addition, the complete analysis of our expenses, the monitoring of our suppliers and the collaborative management of our contracts provided us a clear vision for the management of our purchases. This enables us to use a single shared and streamlined tool at the enterprise level.”
The Ivalua Buyer V8 solution fits the needs of a unique procurement, sourcing, supplier management and contracting process. The solution is based on flexible modules that align to the processes of any global business instead of having to be altered to suit the solution. The simplicity of use and complete set of functionalities of Ivalua Buyer V8 enables businesses to quickly cut expenses, while boosting their delivery process.
“Michelin’s successful implementation of Ivalua Buyer demonstrates the team’s dedication to client success and the flexibility of the Ivalua tool,” added Dan Amzallag, CEO of Ivalua Inc.
