Baked goods company selects software suite from Adonix to manage corporate growth
Pittsburgh, PA — April 27, 2005 — Foxtail Foods, a Memphis, Tenn.-based manufacturer and distributor of baked goods, has selected enterprise resource planning (ERP) provider Adonix's X3 Process suite to automate business operations and better manage corporate growth.
A division of Perkins Restaurant and Bakery (The Restaurant Company), Foxtail Foods offers cookie dough, muffin batters, pancake mixes, pies and other food products to its Company-operated and franchised restaurants, as well as to third-party bakery and food service distributors. The company processes orders received from all parts of the country at its centralized plant in Cincinnati, Ohio, where products are produced, packed and shipped via common carrier.
Foxtail Foods will implement the entire Adonix X3 Process suite, including process manufacturing for recipe and ingredient management, inventory control with lot traceability, as well as Adonix X3's intrinsic Business Intelligence tool that provides user-defined business analytics on a real-time basis.
Adonix X3 Process combines the features of the company's flagship product, Adonix X3, a Web-native ERP suite that integrates manufacturing, distribution, warehouse management, customer relationship management (CRM) and finance functionality, with application features that address the needs of process manufacturers, including recipe management, lot traceability, shelf life management, quality control and regulatory compliance.
It is suited for companies producing baked goods, confections, dairy and other food and beverage products.
