Upgrades functionality a more effective inventory optimization solution
Chicago October 10, 2005 LogicTools, a developer of supply chain planning solutions, said that it has released version 4.0 of its Inventory Analyst inventory optimization solution.
LogicTools said it enhanced the features of the solution to LogicNet Plus for network design and LogicChain for production sourcing and asset planning. AMR Research noted in the recent alert of September 30, "LogicTools continues to make progress in gaining market traction on products that are reasonably priced and easy to deploy."
The provider went on to say that some of the functionality includes solver performance, which is designed using a scalable proprietary algorithm; detailed inventory modeling capabilities; and supply chain visualization.
Michael Watson, vice president of Business Development at LogicTools, said, "We believe the use of inventory optimization is going to increase considerably in the next few years and we are poised to capture this market through our focus on the customer experience."
Customers using Inventory Analyst include Cabela's, Del Monte, World Kitchen and The Timken Co.
