Atlanta — January 29, 2004 — Servigistics, a supplier of service parts management solutions, and United Kingdom-based Synstar Inc., a provider of IT services and business availability, announced that Synstar has selected Servigistics' service parts management (SPM) solution to manage its European service parts inventory, which is comprised of over 100,000 unique part numbers.

Servigistics said the solution be implemented in approximately 12 weeks across all Synstar's service parts locations, enabling the company to manage growth by streamlining service parts management, increasing service levels and enhancing customer satisfaction.

"The Servigistics product provides all the functionality Synstar needed to manage, locate and replenish its service parts requirements. The comprehensive capability plus the key issue of a short implementation timescale were fundamental in the decision making criteria and in selecting the Servigistics solution," said Steve Hill, services director for Synstar.

Servigistics said that during 2003 it was named the global Service Parts Management industry leader by analyst firms AMR Research and META Group, and it also added such clients to its roster as Agfa, Akibia, Avaya, Credence, Honeywell, InFocus, PartsNow!, Patterson Dental and StorageTek.
