Adonix Touts Success in Mid-market

Provider ties latest customer wins to upswing in IT spending by midsize manufacturers

Pittsburgh, PA — May 11, 2004 — Mid-market enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution provider Adonix has announced six new midsize manufacturing customers for its flagship X3 software suite, riding the wave of increased information technology spending in this market segment.

The new customers for Adonix's X3 Process suite including process manufacturers Fleming & Company of Fenton, Mo., producers of pharmaceutical products; Golden Artist Colors, based in New Berlin, N.Y., a provider of acrylic paint and materials; and Stockmeier Urethane Corp. of Clarksburg, W.V., the U.S. subsidiary of German-based Stockmeier, which manufactures such polyurethane products as coatings, adhesives and sealants for the electrical, filter and sports flooring industries.

In addition, new clients for the provider's X3 Discrete solution include Disguise Inc. of San Diego, Calif., the world's largest designer and manufacturer of costumes and accessories; Chicago-based Anamet Electrical, a manufacturer of electrical conduit; and DC Fabricators of Florence, N.J., suppliers of designs for steam condensers, heat exchangers and pressure vehicles for the U.S. Navy, power generation, refinery and chemical process industries.

The latter two signings were obtained through Adonix' value-added reseller channel partners InfoData Corp. of Chicago, Ill., and Business Management International (BMI) of New York, N.Y., respectively.

In announcing the new deals, Adonix North American CEO Alex Attal tied the latest customer wins to an upswing in IT spending by midsize manufacturers. "We saw momentum beginning to build in the last quarter of 2003," he noted.

The optimism is shared by industry analysts who, in surveys of small to midsize North American businesses, have concluded that this group's IT spending in 2004 is expected to increase at a rate faster than that of larger enterprises, according to Adonix.

With 950 customer implementations encompassing more than 22,000 users since its introduction in 2000, Adonix said that X3 is establishing a foothold among midsize companies seeking to replace their legacy systems with a new enterprise system to support their business growth and competitiveness.
