El Segundo, CA — June 10, 2004 — Rocknel Fastener, a leading manufacturer of cold-formed fasteners for the automotive industry, said this week that it has selected Glovia International's extended enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, glovia.com, to manage its company-wide operations, from sales and procurement to production, order management and post-sale service.
The company is starting the implementation process this month at both its manufacturing facility and its sales and distribution center with plans to go live by the first of November.
Rocknel Fastener, primarily servicing the domestic Japanese market, said it was encumbered by its legacy system, which was growing more and more outdated and unable to keep up with their business needs. Rocknel Fastener began a long, prudent search process for an ERP solution to better manage its company-wide operations and eventually selected glovia.com.
