Product information management specialist FullTilt completes certification for retail data synch network

By linking FullTilt's solution to the Transora network, consumer goods companies will be able to populate Transora catalogs with product information that has been extracted and standardized from multiple internal data stores. This internal data synchronization is vital to the smooth functioning of electronic commerce and supply chain optimization initiatives, including those relying on Transora and UCCNet repositories.
FullTilt said its product information management software, available since 2001, automatically adjusts disparate product descriptions contained in multiple enterprise databases and data stores to conform to a pre-defined format, dynamically updates product information as it changes to ensure 24x7 accuracy and maintains current information in a central repository for use both within the organization and by external trading partners.
It also includes an advanced content/catalog manager that supports unlimited taxonomies and user-defined attributes; search and presentation functions enabling users to find product information and perform side-by-side comparisons; and export abilities allowing product information to be transmitted in various formats and syndicated into custom catalogs conforming to channel and customer requirements, according to FullTilt.
