Alliance integrates data management solutions with logistics and engineering for radio frequency identification
Mesa, AZ August 4, 2004 RF Code Inc., a designer, developer and manufacturer of active radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies and Auto-ID data management software, today announced a partnership with Specsoft Consulting Inc., a mobile application vendor and enterprise integration specialist.
According to both companies, Specsoft's experience in integration and RF Code's technology solutions are expected to provide customers with device-independent Auto-ID data collection from bar code, active RFID and passive RFID; enterprise integration services spanning transportation, healthcare, retail and energy applications; resources for developing, piloting and implementing RFID solutions; and resources for global deployment of RFID Solutions with multi-frequency requirements.
"Specsoft has a team of certified RFID engineers with years of experience in the mobile wireless arena," explained Manab Sen, president and CEO of Specsoft Consulting Inc. "Our team is focusing on the complexity of RFID technology deployed on a multinational scale and will specifically use [RF Code's] TAVIS data collection framework to help companies in the global arena."
Additionally, Sen said, the current team has experience in the areas of logistics and supply chain management, which the companies plan to target toward helping users meet the RFID compliance deadlines put forth by the Department of Defense and Wal-Mart.
