Financial services firm selects Business Objects for enterprise business intelligence
San Jose, CA September 18, 2003 Fifth Third Bancorp has implemented an enterprise-wide business intelligence solution from Business Objects, according to an announcement today from the solution provider.
A diversified financial services company with $88 billion in assets, Fifth Third uses Business Objects to allow its business managers to aggregate and share information from multiple transaction and marketing systems throughout the company.
In addition, the company plans to utilize a secure Business Objects-enabled extranet to provide its merchant customers with data on credit card purchases, payments and risk.
"We were seeking an easy-to-use business intelligence solution that could be deployed throughout our company and extended outside the enterprise to our valued merchant customers," said Jeff Adkins, vice president of production and technical services at Fifth Third.
