Burlington, MA — December 7, 2004 — Lawn equipment manufacturer Toro Company is set to use a supply management solution from Emptoris as its platform for global strategic sourcing initiatives.

Headquartered in Bloomington, Minn., Toro is a $1.5 billion provider of outdoor maintenance products for home, recreation and commercial landscapes around the world. The company will use Emptoris' Enterprise Supply Management Solution to facilitate its strategic sourcing process.
