E-Waste Solutions Provider Adds North Texas-based HQ

Greenstream adds 48,000-square-foot warehouse to meet additional growth

Dallas—Aug. 11, 2011—After two years of strong growth, Greenstream International, a recycling, harvesting and resale solutions provider for enterprise and consumer technology, has moved its headquarters to North Texas from Austin. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex suburb of Farmers Branch, the company’s new 48,000-square-foot operation will provide processing capacity for more than 50,000 electronic devices daily. Approximately 20 new positions will be added to support the expansion. Greenstream will maintain its 10,000-square-foot facility in Austin.

“Greenstream has gained significant market share in the last 25 months,” said Jaime Shaw, co-founder and partner of Greenstream. “Our new North Texas operation represents tremendous opportunity and will provide us with the capacity to expand our services into new industries, such as medical devices and equipment. This move corresponds with the addition of our new CEO Antony Francis, whose extensive supply chain background and leadership will help us sustain and accelerate this momentum. This is a remarkable time for our company and we’re excited to have him on the team.”

In May, the company announced Antony Francis as chief executive officer. He was previously president of ATC Logistics & Electronics, a $350 million provider of third-party logistics services for high-velocity and high-tech devices. Francis also served as FedEx’s vice president of Logistics and e-Commerce in Europe for more than a decade.

“Responsible management of end-of-life equipment is one of today’s most pressing environmental issues, while data security is a chief business concern,” said Francis. “As such, Greenstream’s sound solutions protect the environment while keeping information on the devices safe. With our twofold value proposition, we are in a unique position to be an industry leader. North Texas’ strategic position as an epicenter of technology and ready access to the I-35 corridor, airports and inland ports will help support our growth.”

Greenstream is committed to protecting the environment, as well as the reputation of each customer. Based on supply chain best practices, Greenstream utilizes sophisticated warehouse management systems to ensure private information residing on equipment remains uncompromised by tracking serialized components from intake to final destination.

The company serves original equipment manufacturers, corporations, retailers and service providers to virtually eliminate waste while providing value for outdated and unused technology. Focus includes:

  • Enterprise infrastructure technology (servers, storage, etc.)
  • Consumer electronics (set-top-boxes, gaming systems, etc.)
  • Telecommunications equipment (modems, smartphones, etc.)
  • Coming soon: medical & life science electronic devices
