UPS and Sealed Air Corp. aim to solve packaging and shipping challenges for e-commerce retailers.

United Parcel Service Inc. and Sealed Air Corp. are opening a Packaging Innovation Center in Louisville.

The facility will be in 6,000 square feet at the UPS Supply Chain Solutions campus on Outer Loop. The center aims to solve packaging and shipping challenges for e-commerce retailers and companies in other industries.

The center is part of a strategic partnership, announced in November, between UPS and Charlotte, North Carolina-based Sealed Air Corp., the owner of Bubble Wrap.
