Minneapolis—June 17, 2014—HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain management software, announced that Mitsubishi Brazil selected the HighJump Warehouse Advantage warehouse management system (WMS). The solution, to be deployed by Otimis, HighJump Software’s partner in Brazil, is going to be installed at the advanced parts receiving distribution center in São Paulo and at its automobile production plant in Catalão.
The open architecture of the HighJump WMS allows it to be configured to the exact needs of Mitsubishi Brazil now and into the future. It manages inbound parts, inventory control and tracking, as well as the production lines throughout its large and dynamic operations. In addition, the company is going to have a foundation of best practices for receiving, put-away/flow-through, order processing replenishment and more. Greater visibility of inventory and labor supports more efficient planning and operations.
“The operational and workforce management requirements of Mitsubishi Brazil are complex because of the sheer size of the company’s operations,” said Helcio Lenz, CEO, Otimis. “The flexibility and configurability of the HighJump WMS met these challenges and will help Mitsubishi Brazil take its operations to the next level.”
“Mitsubishi has grown its operations and workforce quickly in Brazil,” said Gary Nemmers, senior vice president and general manager of the supply chain execution group, HighJump Software. “Our solution’s ability to adapt to its very specific needs and demanding economic environment will help it continue to expand and succeed.”
