Westlake Village, Calif.—June 26, 2013—Cheetah Software Services Inc., a cloud-based transportation logistics solutions provider, joined the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program (SEAP) to integrate its logistics intelligence solution with Samsung’s mobile devices.
As a silver partner of the program, Cheetah will receive enhanced technical and product support on Samsung products. It will provide deeper integration with Samsung devices by utilizing Samsung’s proprietary API’s on the Android platform. In addition, Cheetah will also be able to work with Samsung’s industry-leading local and global sales and marketing organization.
“Becoming a Samsung Silver Partner is an exciting step for Cheetah, giving us more access to better resources for building powerful and innovative mobile solutions,” said Jeff Groenke, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Cheetah Software Services Inc. “We’ve enjoyed excellent results in working with Samsung smartphones and tablets, and can look forward to accomplishing even deeper integration, resulting in better and more efficient applications for our customers.”
Cheetah provides optimized vehicle routing that continuously adjusts to changing conditions; automated dispatch and customer service; and access to real-time supply chain information across an organization. Along with Samsung’s extensive smartphone and tablet product line, the combination results in a dynamic, intelligent and predictive LTL and delivery software solution.
Cheetah Mobile running on Samsung devices connects field workers with dispatch, customer service, management, and customers, in real time, via two-way messaging, dynamic ETA updates and POD verification including barcode scanning, signature capture and photos. Field efficiency is further improved with voice navigation providing turn-by-turn directions driven by live pickup and delivery information. Training is reduced and productivity is increased through a touch-screen interface that is standardized across all Android devices and built-in help that reduces support calls.
