Piab launched the PS Series, a new range of compact electronic vacuum sensors and switches designed to make vacuum-based handling more stable, efficient and predictable.

The PS Series provides clear feedback on vacuum levels, switching status and system performance directly at the application, helping manufacturers improve control and confidence in automated handling processes.

“With the PS Series, we are giving customers a compact, intelligent and easy-to-use way to monitor vacuum performance exactly where it matters,” says Mike Tuohey, marketing activation manager, Piab. “Whether the application requires continuous vacuum monitoring, dependable switching or full digital integration, the PS Series helps customers build more reliable and transparent automation systems.”

Key takeaways:

·        PS.VA provides analog output for continuous monitoring of vacuum level.

·        PS.VS combines digital switching output for reliable on/off control with analog monitoring output for additional control.

·        PS.VSI adds IO-Link connectivity for full integration into modern automation systems.

·        The launch also includes the new Piab Connect app, which makes setup easier for supported PS Series switches. Through NFC, users can adjust settings, copy configurations between switches and access key statistics directly from their phone, simplifying commissioning and ongoing optimization.

·        Designed for vacuum automation applications, the PS Series supports manufacturers looking to increase process visibility, reduce setup complexity and strengthen control at the point of operation.
