F&B, Electronics Cargo Theft Still on Rise

The report revealed 525 theft incidents in Q2, up 4% from Q1 and 33% year-over-year.

In Q2-2025, Overhaul recorded 525 cargo thefts in the United States, marking a 33% increase when compared to Q2-2024. Electronics and food and beverage were the most targeted product types, each experiencing 16% of theft incidents. 

“As cargo theft in the U.S. continues to grow, shippers must be aware of the country’s unique risks,” according to the Overhaul report.
