Tunley Environmental launched its new Climate Risk and Resilience Strategy service, supporting organizations in understanding and managing the operational, financial and strategic risks posed by climate change.

“Our Climate Risk and Resiliency service empowers organizations of all sizes to better understand climate risks, strengthen resilience, future-proof their operations and ultimately reduce financial and reputational risk that climate uncertainty poses,” says Dr. Tara Garraty, senior sustainability scientist and biodiversity lead at Tunley.

Key takeaways:

·        Many organizations are starting to demonstrate awareness of climate-related risks, and implement actionable strategies to mitigate them in line with frameworks such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

·        The Climate Risk and Resilience Strategy service delivers a structured, data-driven approach to evaluating both physical and transition climate risks aligned with ISO 14090, 14091, and 14092 standards. This includes assessing exposure to acute and chronic climate hazards, such as extreme weather events and long-term temperature shifts, alongside policy, market and reputational risks associated with the transition to a low-carbon economy.

·        A key feature is the development of tailored resilience and adaptation strategies. These strategies are designed to integrate climate risk into core business planning, strengthen operational continuity and enhance long-term value protection.
