Firm to demonstrate add-ons and enhancements to software at upcoming conference in Minnesota
Atlanta, GA — March 16, 2006 — ACOM Solutions Inc. said it will demonstrate its recently released EZContentManager document storage, retrieval, viewing and distribution solution at the COMMON Spring 2006 IT Education
Conference & Expo in Minneapolis, Minn., March 26-30.
The firm will also offer demonstrations of its new iSeries native modules, options and enhancements for its EZeDocs/400 Document Management and EZPayManager/400 Payment Management solutions.
The suite of solutions that ACOM has developed for the iSeries environment over the years are mature in their scope and in their effectiveness in streamlining and reducing the costs of back office processes, claimed James Scott, ACOM's senior vice president. But they continue to grow in power and performance through refinement and the development of auxiliary tools that further optimize back office operations.
Scott said some of the add-ons and enhancements include the EZSplitter/400, which allows SCS spool files to be split based on fields in the spool file to create new spool files or decollate or collate on those fields; and the EZFTP/400, which allows users to send their Positive Pay Files and ACH files directly to the bank's secure FTP server with little user intervention.
ACOM also introduced an OCR and barcode utility set that allows users to scan documents and to pull indices out of the paper documents for entry into EZContentManager. Designated the EZContentManager Imager and EZCM Imager Workstation, these modules are sold separately from EZContentManager as user options.
The enhancements are available as online downloads from ACOM's Web site or on CD.
