Logistics and transportation management firm to be value-added reseller of Delfour's 3PL, 4PL software

Toronto, Ontario, Canada — November 2, 2004 — The three-year-old logistics management provider Transkor Systems Inc. said this week it has signed an agreement to resell the third- and fourth-party (3PL-4PL) logistics management software systems developed and marketed by Delfour Corp.

Transkor provides a variety of logistics management, information technology, finance, supply chain advisory and freight audit and payment services to companies in Canada and in the United States. The company's clients include several Fortune 1000 companies as well as mid-sized firms, according to Transkor President and CEO Robert Naiman, with ongoing relationships in such manufacturing sectors as aircraft and aerospace, automotive parts, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage products, industrial resins, graphic arts and petroleum refining, distribution, and retailing.

It will market the Delfour solution to its existing client base as well as to new client contacts, and it also plans to include the solution as a component in its projected 4PL service offering.

Delfour Corp. offers software systems for 3PL management with its SmartEnterprise 2 product suite, and in the emerging 4PL management field with its recently introduced Del4PL solution. For example, Delfour software systems are currently in use at eight of the top 20 members of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW), and also have a strong presence in the ambient temperature 3PL field.

"Delfour's SmartEnterprise 2 3PL solution resides right at the heart of the supply chain," Naiman said, "while Del4PL enables both asset-based and non-asset based companies such as our own to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions. This new relationship with Delfour has furnished Transkor with the remaining tools we have needed to become a fourth party logistics provider (4PL)/lead logistics provider (LLP)."

"We are extremely pleased to enter into this relationship with Transkor," Joe Couto, Delfour's president and CEO, said, "By exposing our systems to their existing client base as well as involving our solutions in their new business efforts, we will gain entry into industry sectors and applications where we have perhaps been less active than we would like."
