Electronics For Imaging deploying Web-based solution to manage sales contracts, commitments

Redwood City, CA  September 23, 2003  Electronics For Imaging (EFI) is set to use a contract management solution from Nextance for the management of its sales contracts and commitments.

EFI is a provider of imaging solutions for network printing. Headquartered in Foster City, Calif., EFI employs more than 1,000 people and maintains 23 offices worldwide.

Nextance will provide EFI with a Web-based repository to store all of its sales contracts and related documentation, which will allow the company's staff to run real time reports within and across contracts. Furthermore, the solution also will enable EFI to automate the contract creation process as well as streamline rights and obligations management.

"We wanted a system to efficiently manage and centralize our contracts for easy access and risk assessment electronically," said Stephanie Alexander, EFI associate general counsel. "Using the Nextance solution will help us to reduce administrative costs in addition to maximizing collections on revenues due and streamlining our contract management system."
