Service provider implementing transportation management system from Richer Systems Group to support growth
Calgary, Alberta — November 21, 2003 — Transportation services provider Salem NationaLease is implementing a transportation management system (TMS) from Richer Systems Group (RSG), a provider of software solutions for the fleet management industry, to manage its business and help enable growth and continued high service levels.
Winston Salem, N.C.-based Salem, one of the largest NationaLease affiliates, is a transportation services company specializing in full-service truck leasing, commercial truck rental, guaranteed contract maintenance, dedicated contract carriage and logistics services.
Salem is adopting RSG's Enrich Transportation Management System under an agreement that will allow Salem to access the complete range of functionality offered by the TMS, which RSG said is capable of managing the entire enterprise of full service truck rental and leasing companies including dedicated and logistics services.
Salem has committed to install the maintenance, asset, contract and financial management modules of the Enrich system. Also slated for implementation are software modules for fuel sales, fuel tax and license compliance, and business intelligence.
"We saw Enrich as the only business system capable of handling all facets of our operations." said Tom Teague, president and CEO of Salem. "This will become a key element supporting the growth of Salem and its reputation for customer service excellence."
Eric Richer, president of Richer Systems Group, added: "Salem NationaLease required comprehensive functionality within a single and highly integrated suite of business applications. Enrich will be able to deliver those requirements."
Calgary, Alberta-headquartered RSG says that Enrich product offers modules for every aspect of the transportation services industry, from full service lease and rental operators to common carriers. Customers can deploy the Enrich software modules, in whole or in part, to meet the unique requirements of each enterprise, according to the solution provider.
