Ivanti Supply Chain Enables Rapid Migration to Zebra Technologies' Android-Based Mobile Devices

Channel partners can now leverage an easy-to-use migration tool to speed Android adoption.

Ivanti Supply Chain announced that through its Rapid Migration and Rapid Modernization tool, RM2, supply chain organizations can easily move to Android within minutes. By using Ivanti Velocity, powered by Wavelink, warehousing and retail customers that leverage Zebra Technologies' MC3300, MC9200, TC8000 and VC80x series devices can modernize their operations while simplifying the process of bringing existing terminal emulation or web-based apps with them as they migrate to Android.

RM2 also includes Rapid Modernization for customers to move from green screens to touch-enabled Android interfaces. The Rapid Modernization tool enables users to use simple web forms to choose from the most popular WMS and enterprise systems, formatting them into a familiar Android touch-enabled user interface.
