Skin Sake Selects DiCentral, Streamlines Processes

Over-the-counter drug company streamlines customer communications, reducing time spent, lowering costs and improving the bottom line

HoustonSept. 4, 2013DiCentral, Inc., provider of supply chain management solutions and business-to-business (B2B) integration, and Skin Sake, an over-the-counter drug company, announced that Skin Sake selected DiCentral’s leading B2B integration management solutions and realized immediate benefits.

“Luckily, we found DiCentral fairly quickly through a customer referral,” said Matt Burns, sales manager for Skin Sake. “Working with DiCentral has improved our entire business because the electronic data interchange (EDI)-based solution completely streamlined our daily operations.”

Skin Sake had been using traditional, time-consuming and cumbersome methods. In addition to the many distributors and healthcare customers Skin Sake touts, the company’s customer base has grown tremendously over the last few years. The company also recently launched a new product, Booty Goo Diaper Change Ointment, in more than 7,000 Walgreen’s stores nationally. With all the expansion, increased transactions and customer interactions, the company saw the immediate need for a better way to manage its operations.

Being able to receive purchase orders and tracking reports, and sending ASNs and other communications from a central point had an immediate impact that led to savings across the Skin Sake organization, which it, in turn, paid forward in different ways to its customers.
