Even in an economic downturn, companies must continue to invest in e-logistics technology and services. Logistics isn't about transportation anymore; it's about improving customer satifaction, which is especially important in a slowing economy.
2. Companies should not blame market confusion for lack of action. Logistics operations that were formed as little as five years ago are probably not equipped to meet the higher expectations of today's customers. You can move into e-logistics slowly, but you must start moving now.
