ImmuniWeb launched ImmuniWeb CyberScore, a cybersecurity rating service, designed to help anyone quickly gauge an organization's cybersecurity, privacy, and AI safety.

"Cybersecurity has become a trust and compliance issue, not just an IT issue," says Dr. Ilia Kolochenko, founder and CEO of ImmuniWeb. "Various financial ratings and scores shape the way we perceive potential financial risk because they turned complex financial statements into something an average person could easily understand prior to making an in-depth examination of the books. Cybersecurity should be no different: simple and understandable."

Key takeaways:

·      ImmuniWeb CyberScore provides businesses and consumers with a data-driven assessment of an organization's publicly visible cybersecurity posture using only non-intrusive testing techniques and publicly available information.

·      Whether at the early stage of evaluating a supplier, choosing a business partner, considering an investment, researching a company or deciding whether to trust a website with personal or financial information, users can obtain a cybersecurity rating in minutes.

·        Built on six interconnected cybersecurity services provided by ImmuniWeb Community Edition, the cybersecurity rating combines multiple external security indicators into a single assessment, including website security rating; website privacy rating; encryption security rating; email security rating; AI readiness rating; and dark web exposure.

·        ImmuniWeb is said to be among the first cybersecurity rating platforms to assess AI readiness alongside traditional cybersecurity indicators, helping organizations understand whether they are prepared to use AI securely. The assessment evaluates publicly observable indicators of AI security and governance, providing an independent view of an organization's readiness to manage AI-related risks.

·        The cybersecurity rating can help assess suppliers and third-party cyber risk; support procurement and vendor due diligence; evaluate business partners before sharing sensitive information; help SMEs understand and improve their external cybersecurity; support investment and acquisition due diligence at early stage; help analysts research organizations in a non-intrusive manner; and give consumers another indicator of whether an organization appears to take data protection and privacy seriously.
