CHERRY HILL, NJ, December 2, 2011 –AmeriQuest Transportation Services, a leading provider of fleet management services, has appointed Rich Silva as Director of Sales for the Northeast region of the U.S. and Rick Rogers as Director of Sales for the Great Lakes territory. Both men report to Kevin O’Brien, AmeriQuest’s newly appointed National Sales Director. He previously held the position of Director of Sales.

Silva and Rogers are responsible for managing the needs of private fleet and truckload carrier customers and educating them about the benefits of AmeriQuest’s supply management programs and its full menu of fleet services including financing, remarketing, fleet planning, logistics consulting, full service leasing, and accounts payable automation. Both men are meeting with current and new customers to help them improve their operational efficiency.
Rich Silva comes to AmeriQuest from Ryder Transportation Services, where he served for 20 years, most recently as Field Inventory Planning Manager for the East Coast and Canada. He began his career in transportation with Northeast International Trucks, involved in the management of the parts department.
Silva’s territory covers 14 states: Virginia; West Virginia; Maryland; Delaware; Washington, DC; Pennsylvania; New Jersey; New York; Connecticut; Massachusetts; Rhode Island; Vermont; New Hampshire; and Maine. He attended Northeastern University and is a resident of Wilmington, MA.
Rick Rogers, a lifelong transportation sales professional, comes to AmeriQuest from All American Specialty Vehicles, manufacturer of ADA-accessible buses. He also worked for many years in the boating industry with Eldean Shipyard and Yacht Sales, representing the industry’s leading brands. His career includes a post with Johnson Controls, Inc. as a supplier to the automotive industry.
Roger’s territory includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. He is a graduate of Davenport University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies. A certified Project Management Professional, he currently resides in Holland, MI.
