Softbank/Vivendi Venture @Viso Closes Two Offices

PARIS -- VENTUREWIRE Following closely on the heals of an announcement that it is halting certain European investments in a joint venture, European incubator @Viso, a joint venture between Vivendi and Softbank said it will close offices in Spain and the Netherlands. It will also suspend plans to open a Milan, Italy office.

Managing director Daniel Scolan said the company had been seeking new investment opportunities from those offices, but decided to concentrate on current portfolio companies at its Paris and Munich offices.
