SAN FRANSISCO, CA PRNewswire December 28, 2000 Evoke Software Corporation recently announced its new product, Axio XML, a program designed to prepare companies' existing systems for e-business by XML-enabling their corporate data assets.
Beginning in the first quarter of 2001, Axio XML will be available as a part of the Evoke Axio product suite. Axio XML will enable its customers to integrate with existing corporate systems and share information. This means companies can integrate with B2B trading exchanges, Enterprise Information Portals, B2C e-commerce solutions, and e-business intelligence applications. Companies will also be able to map their disparate corporate data sources to internal XML standards supporting Enterprise Application Integration efforts.
Axio XML will XML-enable existing systems in two different ways. First, it can design an XML standard based on a company's existing data, allowing them to internally share data or establish standards for others to share information with existing systems. The other method is to map existing data to any predefined industry XML standards such as CommerceOne's xCBL or Ariba's cXML.
