NORWOOD, MA. - January 17, 2001- New Jersey-based healthcare technology consulting and solutions provider RedSalsa will provide its customers and prospects a remotely-hosted e-procurement and e-marketplace solution under a strategic alliance with elcom, which will host the solutions.
RedSalsa, which supports enterprisewide transitions from legacy operations to new technologies, will be providing consulting, implementation, and customization services in support of elcom's e-business solutions in the new partnership, with an emphasis on the healthcare market, according to RedSalsa Executive Vice President Nick Christiano.
"elcom's PECOS Internet Procurement Manager is particularly well suited for the customization needed within healthcare, as it can adapt to the needs of integrating with external suppliers while also serving as an internal procurement platform," said Christiano.
In other news, elcom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elcom International, announced today that David M. Elko, founder and chairman of the National Association of Procurement Professionals, has joined the company's board of directors.
