SiteStuff taps ec-Content

Catalog content for real-estate industry site

SAN DIEGO, February 6, 2001 ec-Content is having a good week: In its second announcement in as many days, the outsourced content management services provider revealed Tuesday that it will be creating and maintaining enhanced e-catalog content for SiteStuff, an e-procurement solution for the commercial real estate industry.

ec-Content will enable SiteStuff to maintain its existing supplier relationships, while also bringing these suppliers' e-catalogs online quickly with the solution provider's Q-Xchange service.

"Our customers represent over 2.8 billion square feet of commercial real estate space and have high expectations for the quality and variety of products SiteStuff provides," said Tom Forshee, catalog operations manager at SiteStuff. "We considered other content providers, but ultimately selected ec-Content because we were impressed with their content management and maintenance expertise."

"SiteStuff wanted to get to market quickly with highly attributed, up-to-date product information," said Trey Simonton, executive vice president of business development for ec-Content, in explaining why SiteStuff chose his company's solution.

ec-Content announced yesterday that its solutions will now be available to customers in Asia under a partnership signed with Gopher Technology.
