Menlo Park, CA April 19, 2001 iPrint has released an online print services platform for corporations that want to give their employees and customers the ability to order customized corporate kits and marketing materials through the Internet.
iPrint says it creates self-service online environments integrated with corporations' e-procurement systems to enable those companies' staff and partners to log onto the corporate Web site, select the items they want, specify quantities, enter shipping and billing information and place the order. iPrint handles the internal billing, credit card processing, backend fulfillment, shipping and order-tracking functions.
iPrint electronically integrates its e-fulfillment technology into its backend facilities, automating transaction processing and online order tracking. The service can integrate with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and e-procurement systems, which should lower transaction costs and result in productivity savings.
In addition to handling printing e-fulfillment, iPrint integrates its technology into corporate enterprise e-procurement systems, facilitating the online procurement of custom-printed stationery items, brochures, promotional and apparel items and direct mail and fulfillment services.
Printing and fulfillment are completed through iPrint's network of commercial printing partners or via existing supplier relationships.
