New version of BenefitPoint focuses on employee benefit e-procurement

San Francisco  May 23, 2001  BenefitPoint Inc., an employee benefits e-commerce company for the distribution and management of group insurance and financial products, today announced that it has released a new version of its flagship application. The new version, BenefitPoint 4.0, is designed to facilitate the e-procurement of employee benefits products and services between insurance carriers and brokers/consultants.

BenefitPoint 4.0 includes new and enhanced functions, which have been rolled-out through Web-based training and e-learning tools. New features include an increased focus on e-procurement and connectivity that benefits professionals need to process requests for proposals (RFPs) and renewals online.

Currently, BenefitPoint can claim many customers, which include regional and national insurance carriers and over 130 leading brokerage/consulting firms. In addition, its new version application has had many adopters, and has received positive responses.
